October 13th Holiday Commission Orders
On Sunday, October 13th at 7PM, FOUR commission order spots will be available on a first come, first served basis. A $20 deposit is required in order to confirm your commission order. The deposit is taxed and non-refundable. However, the $20 deposit will be counted towards the total cost of the commission piece. *If a customer's commission order is personalized in any way (names, pets, etc) OR requires the creation of an original pattern, additional payment will be required before work on the project begins.
You will receive confirmation of your commission order spot via e-mail through Big Cartel immediately following your deposit payment. Next, you will receive a Google Form from Next Paige Glassworks within 48 hours requesting information so that we may begin the creative process. Lead time for commission orders depends on several factors including (but not limited to) glass inventory, pattern-making, size of the piece, etc. Please allow approximately 4-6 weeks for completion unless otherwise discussed with the artist.
Next Paige Glassworks will make every effort to accommodate the vision of the customer. Not all ideas translate seamlessly to glass work, but accommodations/changes can often be made. Please be prepared to provide picture examples of your project vision within 48 hours of securing your commission spot - this is EXTREMELY important to the consultation process. You can find ideas and patterns by simply searching Etsy or Google. Interested in a unicorn flying over a rainbow? Simply search for “unicorn flying over a rainbow stained glass pattern”.
Flexibility and communication are very important to the consultation process. A lack of engagement via e-mail from the customer may result in the loss of the commission spot and deposit. Design, pattern, and color edits following pattern approval may result in additional fees. More information regarding cost estimates and additional fees will be provided upon initial consultation (Google Form).
The artist is trained in copper-foil method and does not do leaded projects at this time.
